Annamarie Gresch, age 89, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025. She was born on August 25, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York.
Annamarie (Anne) was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Gresch, with whom she shared 70 wonderful years of marriage. They were married September 24, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York. Joe and Ann moved several times before settling in California, first in Southern California and finally in San Jose. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and unwavering strength.
Ann was the loving mother of five children and their spouses, a cherished grandmother to 14 grandchildren, and a proud great-grandmother to 12 great-grandchildren.
Ann and Joe shared a passion for antiques, which led them to establish Old Lamplighter Antiques, specializing in refinished furniture. Later, Ann opened Antique Decor & More, where she continued to sell antiques and collectibles, forming lasting friendships with fellow dealers and customers. She found joy in her travels, particularly cruises to destinations like Alaska, Europe, and the Caribbean.
She was a woman of remarkable resilience who met every challenge in life with grace and determination. Her loving and compassionate nature touched everyone who knew her. Family was always at the center of Anne’s life, and her legacy will live on through the values, memories, and love she instilled in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed but remembered always for her strength, her kindness, and her loving devotion to her family.
