Aron Coldiron Obituary (1954

If you knew Aron in elementary or high school, you knew him as Bruce. If you met him after High School, you knew him as Aron. Aron Bruce was born in San Jose, California to Inez and Bert Coldiron. He has an older brother Alan. Aron and Alan did a lot of things together as young boys. They enjoyed riding their bikes, played Little League and Babe Ruth baseball, and played sports in high school. As a left hander Aron was an All Star pitcher in Little League. They loved to waterski, and after High School, they each joined the Navy, like their Dad. Before and after his time in the Navy, Aron traveled around America for a while. Then he became a Millwright worker. He worked mostly in California, including Kirkwood and Fairfield. Aron loved his family. He loved his parents, and he and Alan remember arguing over their Mom's pies. He really loved spending time with his nephews, and although he was sick, he was present when his godson recently married. Aron loved to go fishing, especially at Caples Lake, near Kirkwood. Aron loved to spend time with his favoritedog "Sailor", a beautiful Collie. Sometime in the spring, our family will take a memorial trip there, to spend a day in the place loved by Aron. Aron lived very simply: he was never married, but did have several nice girl friends. He liked to be with friends, go fishing, and visit his nephews. He enjoyed reading Louis L 'Amour books and watching a few TV shows. If you don't know, Aron's life was cut short due to lung cancer. Unfortunately, he caught pneumonia, and the complications proved fatal. After the public ceremony, the family will gather for a private celebration of Aron's life.
