Brian Charles Haines

–

Rescue, California

Brian was born October 5, 1983. He experienced the usual upbringing of most children. Good home, good family, good friends. His smile, generous and lively, came so easily to him and could as easily flee. He laughed, he loved, and he lived. (terribly cliche but true). A business owner, a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend. He cared for each of us in his own way. He served for a time with those who share a love for God. He played guitar and sang for worship; he would sometimes play his guitar while in the garden. Brian's many and varied moods found expression in art and music. A member of a punk band called Wishpea and a promising tattoo artist are among his former accomplishments. If tender-hearted and tough can be teamed together, they were so in Brian. His highly passionate nature led him a dance of ups and downs throughout life. He battled with addictions, to marijuana, meth and heroin and let those things control his life for some time. He succeeded in being free from them for the last year. He made it to his one year sober anniversary. He struggled with the consequences of his actions and the adverse choices he had made in his life during those times. He and God alone know the depths of his pain, anguish and remorse. He prayed, read the Bible, and prayed some more. He loved the Lord and believed in Him. Brian is the strength of his voice, he definitely proved to be one we could not ignore. His life speaks to us as loudly as his death. His hopes, his dreams, his love all say something to us, if we remember them. Remember the good things and hold on to them, forgive those things that have caused you pain and know that Brian now rests in the arms of one who forgives all, he is in the arms of God the Father.
