Bruce Eugene Conroy was born to Gerald and Lova Price in Pittsfield, IL, on January 30th, 1951. Sadly, he left this earth on December 31, 2021. He was the devoted and loving husband of thirty years to Jan Walker Conroy. Sarah DeStefano (Chuck), Dan Walker (Jean), Dave Walker, and Andrea Walker proudly called him Dad. He leaves seven loving grandchildren, Kayli Walker, Danie DeStefano, Hallie Walker, David Walker, Jaren Walker, Chazzy DeStefano, and Maylee Walker. He also leaves behind his sister, Carol Ann Garceau (Steve), his brother Jerry Conroy (Brenda), his nephews David Conroy (Lori), Eric Garceau (Jessie), his niece Erin Timian (Ben), five great nephews, and one great niece. Bruce was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jourdan DeStefano, and his parents, Gerald and Lova Conroy. He leaves a host of extended family and friends. Bruce was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served in the Philippines and Thailand. He excelled in electronics and participated in the Air Force choir. After his service, he worked in the I.T. industry for both private and government sectors. Bruce enjoyed photography, cooking and grilling for family and friends, traveling and taking care of his wife, kids and grandkids. He had an immense love for animals, and especially enjoyed his dogs. There will be a private celebration honoring his loving influence at later date.
