Carole Lynne Maguire died in her home in El Dorado Hills, California on September, 29, 2010. Carole was the loving wife of Allan, mother to Mark, Michael, and Bryan, and grandmother to Meghan and Patrick. Carole was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 24, 1938. After graduating from the Business Training College in Pittsburgh, she worked at the Mount Lebanon office of Mellon National Bank and Trust as a secretary. Carole enjoyed cooking, collecting, sewing, embroidery, golfing, bowling, playing bridge, traveling, animals (especially cats) and spending time with family and friends. Carole met Allan at Calvary Church and were married on October 1, 1960. During their 50 years of marriage, they enjoyed traveling, golfing, RV camping, and family outings with neighbors and friends from church and Westinghouse, where Allan worked. With her son Mark, Carole enjoyed recounting and documenting her Irish Celtic family genealogy. Carole spent a lot of time reading stories, coloring pictures, and playing games with Mark's two children Meghan and Patrick. With her son Michael, Carole enjoyed coin collecting and home projects. She had a significant spiritual influence on Michael by sharing and demonstrating her faith to him. With her son Bryan, Carole enjoyed playing golf, going to movies (they saw ET six times), bowling, stamp collecting, and putting together jigsaw puzzles. In 1975, Carole and the family moved from Pennsylvania to San Jose where she became active at the Episcopal Church in Almaden by serving on Altar Guild, serving on a search committee, and participating in many hospitality and social events. In 1995, Carole and Allan retired to El Dorado Hills, California involving themselves in the ministries at Faith Episcopal Church, garden clubs, RV traveling, playing bridge, taking cruises (including Alaska, Montreal to Fort Lauderdale, the Caribbean, Panama Canal and the Mediterranean), and active adult living in the Four Seasons community.
