Casey Gilmore

Rescue, California

Casey Paul Gilmore, age 65 of Rancho Cordova, CA, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026. Born July 20, 1961, at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, CA. He was a lifelong resident of the greater Sacramento area living in Fair Oaks, Folsom and Rancho Cordova. He was a devoted family man and will be remembered for both his generosity and undying selflessness. He briefly attended American River College after graduating from Bella Vista High School in 1979. In addition to being a member of the very successful Bella Vista football team he also was a big fan of the USC Trojan college football team; the NFL Kansas City Chiefs and the NL San Franscisco Giants. He enjoyed several outdoor activities including hunting, camping, and above all fishing. During his career he worked for Intel at their Folsom campus and retired as a Dispatch Manager for Sportsman’s Warehouse in Rancho Cordova. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children Marcus and Danielle; daughter-in-law Darya; grandsons Desmond and Kayden; brother Kermit; nephew Trevor and niece Molly. He was preceded in death by his father Phillip and mother Susan. Although deeply missed, Casey’s life serves as a quiet reminder of the impact of compassion, humility and unwavering love. A celebration of life service will be held at Green Valley Mortuary at 610 Coloma St, Folsom, CA, on November 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Services are open to everyone, and a memorial reception immediately follows at 3584 Husch Way, Rancho Cordova, CA.
