Deborah Ann Holstien was born in San Diego, California on October 3, 1955. She had loved ones at her side as she passed on to be with her loving father Edward and beloved pets on July 8, 2019 in Sacramento, California at the age of 63. Deborah was the loving wife of Norman Cone for over forty years; the loving mother of son Logan Cone, daughter Brianna Parks with husband David, and the future Grandmother of Weyland Parks. Deborah's extended family includes her mother Bonnie Lowrey, her brother Jeff's daughter Traci Holstien, with husband Jody and son Shane, sister Sandra Welsh's family, with husband Greg and children Gabriel and Mareya, along with her husband's family, including Barbara Cone, Ron and Christine Cone, Trish and Kirk Boisseree, Rob and Joni Cone and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Her many great friends include Debbie, Katie, Paula, Valerie, Ernie, Shirley, Autumn, Kathy, Maria, Starla, Diane, Julie, Reg, Rita, Hadleigh, Vanessa, Bob, Paula, Jeri, Nicole and many more. She loved you all very much! Deborah was retired from the State of California where she worked for the Department of Justice and the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development. She enjoyed training dogs for Canine Companions for Independence, especially when Carly taught the class. She also trained her personal dogs to become champion dock divers. Deborah found delight in photography, computer graphics, crafts, and making costumes for her fur bearing four legged friends. Her competitive spirit and endless support in her children's sports and life endeavors was also a huge part of who she was and they couldn't have asked for a better mom and role model. Deborah will be dearly missed by everyone, especially Bluebari. A Memorial Gathering will be held on November 9, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the the Fulton El Camino Park District Community Center Board Room. Located on the corner of Howe Avenue and Cottage Way in Sacramento. Lunch will be provided.
