Debra (Debbie) Lynn Morris (nee Davidson), aged 68, went to Heaven to be with her Lord on February 8, 2022, after her "old foe cancer" returned in September of last year. She was the youngest child of Samuel (Bow), and Elva Davidson, born in Lodi on July 13, 1953. She grew up in Galt; performing acrobatics with her brother Ronnie, and graduated from Galt High in 1971, where she was a majorette and ran track. She married her love of a lifetime, Edward Morris, on May 1st, 1972. She and Ed resided in Rescue for over 45 years, and prior to that they lived in Represa and Folsom. Debra was a homemaker and endearing wife and mother for almost 50 years, and proud of it! Along with enjoying time with family, she was a master of crochet, loved dancing at weddings, gardening, camping, playing the slot machines, Scattergories, puzzles, investigation shows, and her AM radio stations. She loved her travels to Tahoe, Alaska, Canada, OK, MO, & the East Coast (amongst others)- but her favorite place was at her beautiful home in Rescue, where she proudly chose to raise her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel & Elva; brothers Darrell, Samuel, and Michael; and extended family members Cheryl Morris; Lenard & Eunice Morris; Fonda & John Wallace; Linda Tucker; and Brian Lincoln. She is survived by her husband Edward; daughter Kristy Lincoln; son Rusty Morris (Sarah), daughter Kimberly Dawson (Scott), and daughter Susan Morris; Grandchildren Naythan, Bradley, Claire, Rose, Lily, Caleb, & Noah; brother Ronald Davidson (Juliet); Pat & Jim Stevahn; Jeff Morris; Kerry Tucker; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. Debra touched many lives in her 68 years she shared with us on Earth, and her memory will always warm our hearts and bring a smile to our faces. She never met anyone who didn't like her. She was a devout Christian, and strongly believed in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and read the bible every morning. Her unfaltering faith will continue to be an inspiration to those who knew her. Thank you for sharing her with us, Lord. Enjoy the party up in Heaven, Ma. "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart", Proverbs 3:5 Services will be held on Feb. 15th, Noon, at Green Valley Mortuary in Rescue.
