Dennis L. Schaible, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 10, 2025, in Placerville, CA at the age of 72. Born in Kansas City, KS on February 12, 1953, Dennis lived a life defined by service, hard work, and deep devotion to his family.

Dennis enlisted in the United States Navy, proudly serving his country from 1970 to 1974. During his time in the Navy, he married his high school sweetheart, Billie Diann Amerson, on July 16, 1971, on the Rock of Gibraltar while stationed in Rota, Spain. Together, they welcomed their son, Jason Schaible in August of 1972.

After his military service, Dennis attended Kansas University, where he studied Business / Science. He went on to build a distinguished 31-year career with 3M, retiring as National Sales Manager of the Fire Protection Division. His professionalism, leadership, and dedication left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the industry.

Dennis found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved working on his property, woodworking, restoring his 1967 Mustang Coupe, and traveling to Hawaii with Diann. Above all, he cherished time with his family. Sunday night dinners and poker nights became a treasured tradition and source of countless memories.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Diann, his son Jason, daughter-in-law Melissa, granddaughters Bryttney, Baylie (Daniel), and Brooke, great-granddaughter Magnolia, Sister Susan (Curtis), Brother David (Evelyn), several nieces and nephews and many life long friends. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.

Dennis leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and a life well lived. He will be forever missed and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. To honor him, plant a tree!
