Evette Marie Pieper Obituary (1959

Evette Marie Pieper, born December 14, 1959, passed away on June 17, 2015 at the young age of 55 in Folsom, CA. Evette was the daughter of Everett and Joy Rey, and was born and raised in Stockton, CA. She went to St. Mary's High School, and at the age of 21 she met her soulmate Douglas Pieper at the Black Angus bar where Douglas was performing close-up magic. The two immediately fell in love and married in October 1981. Evette and Douglas had two children Doug Jr and Megan. The family relocated to Folsom, CA, where Evette and Douglas worked at Folsom Prison. The family enjoyed many fishing and boating trips on Folsom Lake and all around CA. Doug continued to do magic in the community for fun at charitable events, which Evette, Doug Jr, Megan, many friends, and some special family members enjoyed assisting and attending. The family lost their husband and father Douglas in 2003, and now their mother Evette. The family is mourning the loss of Evette, but find comfort that in death she is reunited with her Doug, and her beloved parents Everett and Joy Rey. Evette is survived by her son Douglas Pieper Jr and his husband, her daughter Megan Ziegler, her husband and grandson Justin, her brother Everett Rey and his wife, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
