Fred Jensen, 60, of El Dorado Hills passed away suddenly on April 3, 2021. He loved the outdoors, especially mountain biking, hiking, and gardening. He also loved to travel the world, listen to The Beatles, and spend time with family and friends. Fred will be mightily missed by all who knew him. Fred was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to the late Charles Jensen and Janet (Thompson) Jensen. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jennifer (Wilkinson) Jensen and his children Mitchell and Heather. He is also survived by six siblings, Jim, Tom, John, Mary (Talbot), Mike and Kathryn, along with many in-laws, nieces and nephews, and friends who rode the hills with him. Fred graduated from the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire with a B.S. in Computer Science. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve, receiving an honorable discharge in 1988. He was a senior software engineer at Micron Technologies in Folsom. There will be an outdoor celebration of life on June 5, 2021 at 3PM at the picnic area of Lake Forest Park, 1821 Francisco Drive, El Dorado Hills.
