Janice Ziegler

Janice Ziegler, born on February 25, 1936, in Glendive, Montana, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, in Cameron Park, California. She was 89 years old.

Janice was the beloved wife of Norton Ziegler for 66 wonderful years. Together, they created a warm and loving home for their family. Janice is survived by her three children: Paul, Mark, and Gretchen, who carry forward her spirit of kindness and compassion. She was also a cherished grandmother to Grant, Clark, and Konur, who brought immense joy to her life.

Janice dedicated her life to supporting others. A passionate nurse and former flight attendant, she embodied grace and care in every role she undertook. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession, influencing all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Janice found solace in the beauty of Lake Tahoe, where many cherished family gatherings took place. She was also an avid puzzler, often challenging herself with complex jigsaw puzzles that reflected her sharp mind and undying curiosity. Above all, she treasured her quiet moments of reflection, which brought her peace.

Janice’s loving heart and unyielding strength will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Snowline Hospice (snowlinehealth.org), who supported her in her final days. A celebration of her life will take place At Green Valley Mortuary & Cemetery on October 4th, 2025 at 11:00am.
