Our beloved John C. Cavalier, age 83, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022, surrounded by loving family members and dear friends. He was born in Rochester, New York on August 13, 1939 and was the son of Michael and Anne Cavalier. \n\nJohn will be very missed by his loving wife Ann, children Anne Liwski and her husband Jim, Marybeth Loomis, Gabrielle Pucci and her husband Bill, Jacqueline Nelson and her husband Matt, Lisa Brogden, Therese Cavalier and her husband Vinny, Claudine Holmes and her husband Michael; affectionately appointed son Thomas Massie and his wife Alana; grandchildren Noelle Hanson and her husband Bill, Christina Liwski and her husband Mike, Olivia Nelson, Peter Loomis and his wife Kayla, Jon Brogden, Courtney Dempy and her husband Max, Robert Brogden, Isabella Montgomery, Jack Montgomery, Julia Holmes, Liam Holmes, Genevieve Holmes, and Michael Holmes; great grandchild Maverick Hanson, Leo Hanson, and Jamison Loomis. \n\nJohn was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Michigan State University. During his illustrious career, John held senior executive positions with American Can, Atari, Apple Computer, and Amdahl. John was also the Chief Executive Officer of NCA, Antares, and MapInfo. In addition, he served as a valued member of the Board of Directors for several other prominent companies. John was also passionate about the betterment of children, leading him to be a co-founding member of Tech Valley High School in Albany New York; a 4-year public high school providing unique, innovative, and student-centered educational opportunities in current emerging technologies. Lastly, John is a Veteran, who proudly served our great Nation as an Officer in the United States Army. \n\nA Memorial Service will be held on January 22, 2023 at 11am PST at Green Valley Mortuary, located at 3004 Alexandrite Drive, Rescue, CA., followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon.
