John Michael Zanatta

John Michael Zanatta was born July 29,1946 in San Francisco, California and passed away on December 18, 2021 in Folsom, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Giulio and Aileen Zanatta. John graduated from San Jose State University as a Mechanical Engineer. He met and married his wife, Cathy Schuder Zanatta, whom he met on the ski slopes of Heavenly Valley. They were married for 52 years. He was the most loving father to his two children; Keri and her husband Shane and Mitch and his wife Nancy. He was the proudest Grandpa/Nonno to his 5 beautiful granddaughters; Cayley, Sadie, Sophie Dishion, Payton and Rylie Zanatta. John's brothers, Jerry Zanatta (Judy) and David Zanatta (Susan). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and countless friends. John worked at Aerojet for 38 years in various departments. He had great pride in his work at Aerojet and the many coworkers that he had the pleasure of knowing. In his free time he could be found taking great care of his home and acreage that he had dreamed of and actually made a reality. He loved working with wood, traveling and spending time with his wonderful family. He will be greatly missed. A Remembrance of life will take place at a later date, we will add details here.
