Jonette Darlene Wills Obituary (1942 - 2020)

Jonette Darlene Wills passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Standford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. She was born on October 6, 1942 in Santa Rosa, California and was 77 years of age. Jonette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was centered on her faith and family. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Sacramento Temple twice a week. Jonette loved spending time with and supporting her children and grandchildren, working in her garden, camping, and being surrounding by God's beautiful creations. She had the ability to find beauty in all things. Her nickname given by her mother was "Pollyanna" because she was always looking for the good. She was preceded in death by her parents John McCaskie Wilson and Phyllis June Zipser Wilson, also her brother Jock Wilson and sister Phyllis Grant, and grandchildren Gideon Walker and Joel Walker. She is survived by her beloved husband William Ray Wills of Placerville, CA with whom she was married for 61 3/4 years. She also leaves behind her children Daniel Wills, Danya Newey, David Wills, Denise Underwood, Deanne Walker, Doreen Cook, Dale Wills, Devin Wills, Darci Harmon, and Deena Wills, her silbings Rhonda Gardener, Stuart Wilson, Cheryl McVey, and Randy Wilson. There are 66 grandchildren and 34 greatgrandchildren, with 3 greatgrandchildren on the way. Funeral services will be private due to the current pandemic.
