Kevin Michael Duggan June 23 1956 - August 10 2019 The second son of James Duggan and Betty Louise Duggan (neeTrayler), Kevin was born in San Francisco, California and grew up in nearby San Bruno. As a youth he was active in both the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, and he graduated from Crestmoor High School in 1974. Kevin lived most of his life in the San Francisco Bay Area and worked for Bill Graham Productions, and I.A.T.S.E Union Locals 409, 166, & 16 as a motion picture projectionist and stagehand. The love of music permeated his life and in the 1970s and 1980s, Kevin was the bass guitarist and songwriter for the B.B. Loo Band. Some of his favorite musical artists included Queen, Robert Plant, Huey Lewis and the News, Bette Midler, and the Chieftains. He read science fiction and fantasy voraciously and was also passionate about his Irish heritage, movies, Disney characters, and the San Francisco 49ers. He excelled at trivia and stated proudly that he was a "fount of useless information." Kevin retired in 2009 and moved to Sacramento and then later to Shingle Springs, and Camino. He was active in the local dog park community with two dogs, Maggie and Buddy, and, his last dog, Ceili, and he loved their companionship and taking them for walks in the country. He is survived by his two brothers, Brian and Sean, his niece Fiona Duggan-Fuchs, and his uncle Jim Trayler. A celebration of Kevin Duggan's life will be held on Saturday, September 28th at the Hacienda Dog Park. 3395 Hacienda Rd. (Off Cameron Park Dr.) Cameron Park at 12 noon.
