Liang Fa Chou, a charismatic and courageous man, passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 93. Born in Anhui, Hefei, China, on August 25, 1929, Liang Fa lived a life of dedication and unwavering love for his family. He served his country bravely during the Chinese Civil War, traveling extensively with his artillery unit, and ultimately relocating to Taiwan. Throughout his life, Liang Fa embodied the qualities of humility and integrity, which were the cornerstones of his character.\n\nIn 1989, Liang Fa made the bold decision to immigrate to America, where he navigated the challenges of a new culture with grace and determination. Despite language barriers, he remained steadfast in his commitment to his family, supporting them in every way possible. A gifted cook, Liang Fa's culinary prowess brought joy to many, with his Chinese Pearl Meatballs becoming a beloved staple at Lunar New Year celebrations. His devotion to family and friends knew no bounds, as he regularly visited Taiwan to maintain those precious connections.\n\nLiang Fa is survived by his loving wife, six children, three sons-in-law, fourteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply touched by his unwavering love.
