Maggie Faye Kirkpatrick Adamovich passed away Sunday, July 4th, 2021, at the age of 77. She was born on August 10th, 1943 in Opelousas, LA, St. Landry Parish, to parents John Cecil Kirkpatrick and Nora Annice Grimes Kirkpatrick. Maggie Faye was #8 of 11 children and was a twin with brother, Daniel Ray. Her sister, Moriel Lee, and her brother, Johnny, didn't like their names so they nicknamed them "Buttercup" and "Buster". Maggie Faye married a fine young man, Robert (Bobby) Adamovich on July 29th 1962, at a beautiful little church at Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. Maggie Faye and Robert had 3 children Louis, Ronald, and Deborah and four grandchildren. Maggie Faye spent many years in home-based child care as her chosen profession while raising her own children, and had a wonderful gift for multi-tasking and child-rearing. Both Maggie Faye and Bob loved the outdoors and found camping and fishing a source of enjoyment and relaxation including a long planned excursion to Alaska! Maggie Faye was quite skilled at sewing and cooking and was highly knowledgeable and talented when it came to gardening. Her giving nature, sense of humor, and infectious laughter will be missed by all of us who were blessed to have known her, and loved her. Maggie Faye was preceded in death by her parents John and Nora Kirkpatrick, and her husband Robert.
