Marcia Scribner Compton passed away in her home after battling cancer and was surrounded by her loving family. Marcia was born and raised in Sacramento, Ca with her parents Lewis and Barbra Compton along with her two older sisters Linda and Judy. She graduated from El Camino High School in . She worked in the grocery business for 37 years. First starting her career working for Compton's Market which was her family owned business then Raley's where she retired.\n Marcia loved spending time with her family, friends, traveling, gardening and decorating her home. She loved the beach and thoroughly enjoyed her trips to Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, Italy, Aruba, Florida, Georgia and Alaska. She loved horses and for a time worked with search and rescue on horseback. \nShe is survived by her daughter Celeste, son Ryan and his girlfriend Taylor, granddaughter McKenzie, and sister in law Sharon. Auntie to her nieces Jen, Liz, Stacey, her nephews Alan, Bryan, Drew and his wife Alex, along with her many great nieces and nephews she adored.\nShe will be missed by many and will forever be remembered for her caring heart and immense love for her family and friends. \nA private ceremony will be held in Hawaii and there will be a celebration of life held at a separate date for all her friends and family to attend.
