Marialuz Seipel Obituary (1931

Marialuz Seipel was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, on April 24, 1931. She went peacefully after her recent battle with cancer. She is reunited with her life long love of 51 years, Hans Joachim Seipel, who preceded her in 2002, and her son, Marc Steven Seipel, who preceded her in 2000. Marialuz had a contagious smile and tenacious personality. She will be missed by the many friends she made in Folsom, California, over the past 25 years. Talented linguistically, she spoke fluent German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and English. She lived in many cities and countries while married to Hans which included Konstanz, Germany; Rio de Janiero, Brazil; Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Boardman, Ohio, and her final life journey in Folsom, California. Born in 1931, she was initially raised in an orphanage during WWII and later reunited with her father in Brazil. She met her soul mate, Hans, in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, in 1950 while working in the Pharmacy DuBois. He was her "Ein und Alles" (her everything in German). While living in Germany, she studied classical piano and graduated from the Singen Conservatory of Music, in Konstanz, Germany. Marialuz enjoyed crocheting countless afghans, loved flowers, music, children and life. She especially adored four legged creatures she called "love on four paws." Her beloved poodle and constant bedside guardian, Benji, will miss her as well. She is survived by her daughter and caretaker, Liza Maria Jean Seipel-Bueb (Folsom, CA), son-in-law, Christopher Joseph Bueb (Folsom,CA), daughter Janine "Jeanettchen" Seipel with her fiance Mark Hornbacker (Phoenix, AZ), and grandchildren in age order, Joseph Jack Lattuca and wife Shaunna Lattuca (Boston, MA), Lucy Antonina Lattuca (Montreal, Quebec) and Chloe Marie Bueb (Folsom, CA). Catholic mass at St. John's in Folsom located at 307 Montrose Drive at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 29th, 2011. A viewing beforehand between 9am and 9:45 located at Green Valley Mortuary Chapel 610 Coloma Street in Folsom. Internment service to follow at Green Valley Mortuary in Rescue, California.
