Mark Irving Sallette, a loving husband, father, brother, son, colleague, and dear friend, took his last breath at 7:57am on July 8th 2021 after a 5-year battle with cancer. He was 53-years-old. He died at home surrounded by his beloved wife, beautiful daughters, family and friends. Mark is known for his novelty of pizza making, fishing, and road/mountain biking. Mark was born and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida, to Mr. & Mrs. Robert and Sonja Sallette. He was the youngest of four siblings. After high school, Mark attended a vocational school and worked as a carpenter for 10-years. Mark then changed careers and completed nursing school at Indian River College. Mark worked as a Registered Nurse at Vero Hospital in Florida and in the early 2000's moved to California to further his career. He worked as a Register Nurse in various departments such Telemetry, ICU, Cath Lab, and GI at Kaiser Permanente. In 2018, after his cancer diagnosis, Mark retired to spend time with his wife and kids. Mark will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jasmin, daughters Audrey and Emily, mother Sonja, and sisters Catharine and Debbie. He was preceded in death by his father Robert and brother Jimmy. A viewing will be held at Green Valley Mortuary & Cemetery on July 18th, from 10am-12pm, followed by a memorial service from 12pm-1pm and a gravesite service from 1pm-1:30pm.
