Marti Sullivan passed away in her home in Citrus Heights, CA, on October 30th, 2014, after bravely fighting a short, three month battle with metastatic cancer. She was 66 years old. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 43 years, Jerry Sullivan, her daughter Kylee Heuer, (Hans) and three grandchildren Jaida, Lars, and Ella Heuer. She also leaves behind four sisters: Judy Richardson, Christie Graham, Jan Sandburg, and Jill Dickey, as well as 4 nieces and 5 nephews. Born in North Bend, Oregon on December 10, 1947 and raised in Coos Bay, Oregon, Marti was the middle sister of five girls born to Cletus and Eulalah Snyder. She was a graduate of Oregon State University in 1971 where she met and fell in love with her husband, Jerry Sullivan. They married on August 22nd, 1971 and moved to Sacramento, Ca. Marti was a junior high school English teacher for 10 years. When her daughter, was born she decided to retire from teaching to stay home full time with her and manage their rental properties. She was a friend of Bill W. for 31 years and was very active within the community. A die-hard football fan, you could always find her rooting for the Oregon State Beavers and the Green Bay Packers. She was a devoted football coach's wife, an incredible mother, a cherished grandmother, and a dedicated friend to many. A private service will be held in Medford, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
