SHOLBERG, Marvin ''Dee'' Beloved husband, father and grandfather, age 63, died on March 23, 2010. Born February 14, 1947, in Colfax, Wash., moved to California in 1957 and graduated from Thousand Oaks High School in 1965. Dee enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a proud Vietnam Vet. He served as a Combat Engineer supporting Special Forces units. Later he worked as a Backhoe Operator and Wastewater Plant Operator. He was preceded in by his father Marvin E. Sholberg, and survived by his mother Jean Sholberg, wife Patty of 38 years, daughter Tracey Sholberg Olsen (Mike Olsen), brother Garry Repp (Gail Repp), sister Kris Ranallo, granddaughter Lindsey Olsen, seven nephews and three nieces. Dee had a big heart, a great sense of humor and was a simple man. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Dee's life will be held on April 3, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Green Valley Mortuary and Cemetery, Green Valley and Bass Lake Roads, Cameron Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dee's honor to the American Legion or other military organization of your choice.
