Melva Darlene Eubanks (My Mom)was born in Westwood, California on November 12, 1950 to Melvin Ray and Rose R. Ray. The family moved to Oroville, California in 1955. My Mom graduated from Oroville High School, home of the Tigers in 1968. In 1970, she gave birth to Frankie (Me) her son and love of her life. My Mom was the rock of our family. Melva started a 30 year career with Raley's Grocery stores in Oroville, California working in the Bakery. She worked her way up in the company from bakery clerk to managing multiple store in several districts. She was over the Bakery and Deli department in each division. She managed all of the Nevada stores from Elko to South Lake Tahoe, till she transferred back to California. My Mom managed the northern California division and central California division for Raley's Superstores before retiring. After retiring from Raley's, she briefly worked for Jenny Craig in both Nevada and California. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and fought it hard with the love and support of her two loving sisters, Naomi Beier and Linda (Dede) Lundberg. Also with the support of her son and his family: Frank, Jennifer (wife), Alexandria, Timothy, Daniel and Jonathan; Her niece Heather, her husband Ben, kids-Jack, William, Rowan and Truman; Her two nephews Alexander and Jason Lundberg. She passed away at home with her loving family around her on November 7, 2020 (five days prior to her 70th birthday). My Mom will be missed, but we just know that she is looking upon her very close friends and family from heaven above, at 69 and holding. We all love you Mom and the world won't be the same without you here with us. Your sense of humor, love of your family and bright outlook on life will always be with us.
