Mercedes Elizabeth Oslowski

Mercedes Elizabeth Moss Oslowski February 20, 1947 - August 30, 2010 Born Mercedes Elizabeth Medrano in Brownville, TX Attended catholic schools in Brownsville, TX and graduated in 1965. In 1968 she moved to California. Put herself through college to earn her BA and went on to Stanford University to receive her masters in Business Administration. This was quite an accomplishment while working fulltime and raising three children. Throughout her life she had a passion for family, helping others and giving back to her community. She was an active volunteer in her children's school activities, various sporting events and parish. In recent years she found her work very fulfilling and provided guidance to coworkers and extending her heart to everyone she met. She enjoyed golfing, spending time with her children and grandchildren and was an active sideline participant at her grandchildren's various sporting events. In 2004 she began her battle with Liver Cancer. The Sutter Oncology group helped her through the long fight and gave us the blessing of more time with her. Through her strong catholic faith and love of life and family, she kept beating the odds. She leaves behind her husband, Raymond Oslowski , children Priscilla Moss-Flocchini son in law Steve, Tacey Elliott, D. Watson Moss III daughter in law Julie, Grandchildren Sidny, Tyler, Conner, Gwynneth and step grandchildren Alexandra, Marcus, Nicholas, Cash.
