Peggy Ford passed away on Friday August 28, 2020 at her home in Cameron Park, California surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 5, 1946 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Santa Rosa, California. Peggy moved to Cameron Park California in 1979 to raise her family. She was a loving mother to her four children (John, Scott, Melanie and Mark) and a devoted wife to her husband of 53 years, Lewis Ford. She was extremely active in raising her four grandchildren (Michael, Noah, Kaitlyn and Cole). Choosing to be a homemaker to raise her kids rather pursue a career outside of her home. Peggy was a gifted writer who wrote and published several children's books. She worked on many poems and short stories that she shared within the family to express her love and wisdom. Having a deep love for God. She was Catholic and always maintained a love and respect for the Catholic faith. Known for being amazingly unselfish and loving. Peggy would not only give you the shirt off her back she was the type of person that more likely would simply save the money and not buy herself the shirt in the first place in order to take care of your needs first. Her family is heartbroken over her passing and has all the hope in the world that she is in a better place. She is a true one of a kind, absolute sweetheart of a person. She did not have a mean bone in her body. She will be remembered often and missed always.
