Richard Charles Harvey passed to his rest early Friday morning, November 13, 2020. After a series of health complications this past year, he died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 90 years. Born March 1, 1930 in Whittier, CA to Silas James and Margaret Denney Harvey. Dick's first wife, Lenora Harvey passed away in 1999. Survivors of Dick's family include his wife of 20 years, Laurene Harvey, biological children, Jan Jaaskela of Rancho Cordova, CA, two sons, Paul and Ken Harvey, both of North Texas, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Survivors from his second marriage to Laurene include her daughter Tammy Evans Guinn and her two sons, Bruce and Ed Evans of Exeter, California. Dick left behind a large family who loved him dearly. A retired banker, Dick served as AVP for Security Pacific Bank (originally, Security First National Bank) for 38 years. He was honorably discharged from the Regular Army as Sergeant in 1954 after service of two years in Korea. Dick graduated from UCLA (1952) with a degree in Business Administration. Dick had a quiet demeanor but was loved by all family and friends. Additionally, Dick has numerous nieces and nephews all who greatly love him. He will be greatly missed.
