Rollin Bartlett Klink Obituary (1943

Rollin Bartlett Klink, a loving husband, father, uncle, and "papa" passed away peacefully at his Cameron Park, California, home at the age of 78. Rollin was born in Pasadena, California, to Francis Bartlett Klink and Adele Viola Fussell-Klink. He shared a home in Arcadia, California, with his parents and siblings Richard, Marylyn, and John. At Rio Hondo grammar school in Arcadia, he met the love of his life, Joan - whom Rollin described as "a very smart, athletic, and pretty girl I was attracted to." In June 1965, Rollin and Joan were married and later graduated from San Jose State University. In 1966 they were blessed with their first daughter, Karen. Later that year, Rollin was appointed as a special agent in the U.S. Customs Service. In 1968, Rollin and Joan were blessed with their second daughter, Kryssa. Rollin enjoyed a long and distinguished career and retired as the Special Agent in Charge of the Customs Office of Investigations in San Francisco, where he retired in 1997. Rollin loved tending to his garden and loving his grandchildren. Rollin is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan, and his daughters, Karen (Scott Holman), and Kryssa (Brian Miller); his brother, John Klink; five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Michael LaBella), Ben, Sam, Drew, and Alex; two great-grandchildren, (Sophia and Millie). He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Richard, and his sister, Marylin (Vanden Bossche). On Saturday, June 11, 2022 (Rollin's birthday), there will be a memorial service and celebration of life from 2:00 to 6:00 at the Green Valley Mortuary, 3004 Alexandrite Drive, Rescue (Cameron Park), CA 95672.
