Rosemary Eagan Obituary (1925 - 2023)

Rosemary R. Eagan (Resident of San Jose, CA) Born in Cincinnati, OH on Aug. 28, 1925 to Fred and Margaret Costa, one of five children, died Oct. 22, 2023 in El Dorado Hills, CA. She was married to her hometown sweetheart, Bill Eagan(deceased) for 62 years. After living in Greenhills for 10 years, they moved to California in 1968. She is survived by two children Dennis (Deborah) Eagan, Debra (Robert) Stoddard; ten grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, homemaker and devoted mother. She spearheaded many new projects and organized numerous social events and resident activities earning her status of an “icon” at The Villages in San Jose during her retirement years. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11am in Holy Trinity Church in El Dorado Hills, CA on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023.
