Ruby Jo Cobb

Ruby “Jo” Cobb, 90, of Rescue, California, died peacefully
surrounded by family on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Jo was born on
December 19, 1933 in Braggs, Oklahoma and moved to Avenal,
California with family as a child. She attended Avenal schools and
was an accomplished athlete in high school, graduating in 1952. After
retiring in Rescue, Jo enjoyed cooking and entertaining with family &
friends and fun trips to the casino. She was a loving mother,
grandmother and great-grandmother. Jo was predeceased by her
husband of 68 years, Jim, and is survived by her daughter Gloria
Granniss (Paul), son Jerry Cobb (Lachelle) and several grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. There are no services planned. In lieu of
flowers, the family prefers that you donate to Snowline Hospice or the
charity of your choice.
