Shawn David Treece

–

Rescue, California

Shawn Treece of Somerset, CA passed away un-expectantly on the evening of Sept 7, 2014 at Marshall Hospital Placerville, Ca. with his wife and daughter at his bedside. A former Automotive Technician at Folsom Union76 Station, he had a short time period as a business owner, then returned to doing what he enjoyed, an Automotive Technician with Folsom Auto Tech. He had to retired at an early age due to medical conditions from Congestive Heart Failure. He was an automotive lover, gun enthusiast, followed baseball when he could and was a world class home chef. Shawn is watching over his six individualistic children, James, Daniel, Alyssa, Katelyn, Christine and Michael Treece, who all miss their fathers voice, guidance, and hugs every day. Shawn was born in Hollywood, CA on June 26, 1967 to Sharon and Reginald Treece. Shawn's father Reginald, worked for the State of California that provided the opportunity to move the family to El Dorado Hills, CA. When moving there Shawn made friends with Robert Brown and James Biggs who would introduce him to his wife, Lara Goldstein. Shawn was an avid baseball player, but he found his first love of cars in his teens with his Grandfathers truck. While maintaining his Chevy and tinkering with other cars, it just seemed a natural fit to him and perused it as a career. While Shawn is with his Grandma's and Grandpa's, Auntie Corinne, Sheba, Buddy and Boots, (no Cats of course), he will be looking fondly over his Parents, Reginald and Sharon Treece, Sister Dionne Adams (Vincent), his aunts and uncles, nieces, nephew, inlaws and cousins. Special shout out to Tony!!!
