Tyler David Butts, 47, a native of Sacramento, after a brief but aggressive battle with an\ninfection of his heart valve & acute renal failure, he passed from this world in the early morning\nhours of Dec.7th, 2023, his devoted wife Jessy beside him.\n\nTyler was the youngest son of Gary Butts and Glenna Smith, both lost to us within the last 5\nyears. He is survived by step-mom Dawn, older brother & close friend Damon Butts & half sister\nCydney Alderman. He also leaves behind Damon's wife Echo & their only daughter Anastasia,\nwho Tyler absolutely adored, 4 nephews Kevin, Cole, Taylor, Alden & neice Loretta. Sadly he\nalso left behind, the love of his life, wife of 20+ years, Jessy Mae Markland.\n\nAmong the countless family & friends that will miss his endless love, kindness & honor, I want\nto include his two boys, Osolito & Achilles who feel his absence immensely.\n\nHe was fortunate to have worked alongside his father & brother for most of his life in the family\nbusiness, Gary Butts Engineering based here in Folsom. While he enjoyed the physical nature\nof this work his true interest lay elsewhere. He was extremely proficient in all he endeavored to\ndo & being very precocious as a youngster, he became entranced with the mechanism of how\nthings operated. Often getting into trouble for taking things apart only to put them back together\nagain but better or more efficient. Before this age of electronics where all are expert, he was at\n13 or 14 building his mom Glenna a computer tower in a shoebox. Which she used for years!\nHe did actually become an expert in fixing or altering any device to suit his purpose.\n\nAs per his wishes, there will be no official service but there will be a informal gathering for\nfriends and family to celebrate his life in next few weeks. You will find the details on a memorial\nweb page at greenvalleymortuary.com in the coming days. Check daily for updates and please\nfeel free to leave/post meaningful memories, thoughts or donations.
